We arrived at our hotel in the Meat Packing District of Manhattan around midnight. Our separate rooms we rented as a "suite" one with two bunk beds the other with double bed and kitchenette and bathroom. Since they both used an the same outer door, we could be together. All the other rooms on the floor used a shared bathroom in the middle of the hallway. It turned out to be a great place for the sights we wanted to see.
We had two days in New York. Some of the places we visited included the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Natural History Museum, Washington Square Park, Central Park.
I took an 8x10 picture of dad when he was in Times Square in 1948. If perhaps not the same place at least the general area.
So much to see and do in New York. I'm looking forward to a future trip to do and see more!
